Found this in a search for Naples’ best pasta and it did not disappoint! I’d eat the zucchini gnocchi every day, and the seafood linguine was buonissimo! Tiramisu for two was plenty, and exactly what we hoped for. Amazing, friendly helpful staff. Meatballs looked amazing and if we weren’t so full, we’d have ordered those too. Do yourself a favour and visit!
Had dinner at this lovely restaurant during our trip to Naples and the food was wonderful! Staff were really friendly and cleared a table quickly for us to sit down without a reservation. We had two glasses of wine which were absolutely lovely. For our starter we had the sharing starter, every element on the plate was wonderful and we really enjoyed it! We completely underestimated how much food there was and it was very filling! We ordered the carbonara for main and this was also very lovely! Sadly, we couldn't finish it all as the starter was so generous in portion size!I would definitely recommend trying this place as it was so lovely and the atmosphere was perfect also! Thank you to all the staff at Stritt Stritt for being so welcoming and friendly. We promise to finish our mains on our next time we visit.
In a city with an overwhelming number of choices, we found this placed tucked away in a side street near the exit of the Municipal Metro station.Staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. If we had more time we'd likely had returned to eat more of the dishes on the menu as both our dishes were excellent. Our waitress recommended the carne alla Genovesa as it is dish not commonly found in menus in the area despite being a local dish
I had scialatetielli. Pasta full of seafood. Excellent meal service and location. The waitress spoke English and was must help. I certainly would return
Treated like family. Freshest seafood, meats, pasta and delicious white wine... Bellissimo and grazie mille! Zuppa di cosse Napoletana was my favorite, but every bite was perfect!
We found this highly rated unpretentious place on Google Maps just around the corner of where we stayed. We were greeted by the mistress of the restaurant with a huge smile, and the service was all through very quick and timely. This place is run by a whole family it seems and two of the mistress’ daughters would manage the tourists in decent English. The two pasta dishes (gnocchi with zucchini & provolone cheese short pasta with white beans & seafoods) were both delicious & tasteful, with a generous portion. We should have taken only one dish pasta as we did so with the starter (grilled eggplant with cheese, tomato sauce & cappers), in order to try out the main dish. But after one pasta dish for each, we were already quite full. So we ordered just one lemon tiramisu to share. They were all so delicious & generous, that I recommend any people who pass by Napoli to stop by this cozy place to fill your empty stomachs!
Delicious traditional Napolitan food. We had grilled fish, fried squid and prawns, pasta with meat sauce and aubergine with tomatoes and zucchini. The tiramisu with limoncello was a delight. For 2 people 70 euros. Even the Italians go here.
Finding a restaurant in Napoli is overwhelming since there’re so many options all over the city, but I think we made a very good choice. I grew up by the ocean so my bar for seafood is high. This place nailed it. It’s on a quiet side street and we were seated in an enclosed outdoor space. The two of us ordered more than enough food for three people - fried anchovies, seafood risotto (for two people), and the seafood soup. Everything was seriously good. Our favorite is the seafood soup. When you have fresh seafood, you don’t need too much seasoning because it will overpower the original flavor of the seafood. The seafood were cooked perfectly and they did a good job balancing the seasoning and flavor. The soup is a little spicy, which I didn’t expect but liked it. The soup was so delicious I had to soak it up with bread even if my stomach was exploding. It’s a lot bigger and tastier than the other place we went the day before. The anchovies have a very light batter, fresh but could be a little more crispy. The seafood risotto was massive, they split it in two for us (the picture is showing one person’s portion), and I’ve never seen so many seafood in one dish. It had twice as many as seafood as the rice and we couldn’t even finish it. The only downside was that the seafood was cooked a little too long, especially the mussels. If they were like the ones in the soup that’d be perfect. The owner(?) is a very nice lady, chatting with every table and made everyone feeling comfortable. She’s also very sweet when I was practicing my broken Italian with her. The other two girls served us were very sweet too.
